The clock and the price are ours.

There is no field here for an entry price and none for a time. This register reads both itself, at the instant you press the button, from the deepest pool it can find for that mint. That is the only reason anything on this site is worth grading: a price you supply for a moment that has already passed is your word about it.

what happens next
  1. 01The price is read now and written down. If no price can be read, nothing is stamped at all — a call with no entry price can never be judged, and a row that can never be judged only makes the board look busier than it is.
  2. 02The row appears in the register immediately, with its right half blank. It stays blank for the whole window.
  3. 03When the window shuts, the first request to arrive after it takes the closing reading and keeps it forever. The row records how late that reading was.
  4. 04It cannot be withdrawn. A register you can delete a bad call from is a highlight reel with extra steps.
